    Adjust oven rack to top position and preheat oven to 425°F.

    While rice cooks, drain and rinse chickpeas . Toss on a baking sheet with a drizzle of olive oil , salt , and black pepper . Roast on top rack until browned and crispy ⏱️ 20 minutes .
